Cephalotacular!

Well, it turns out I'm not that great at this whole blogging thing.  I try to make posts as regularly as possible, but, to be honest, it just slips my mind most of the time.  I should probably get a calendar or something to try and regulate my posting, but buying a calendar always seems to slip my mind as well.  It occurred to me today that I haven't done an etsy theme post for a while (read: a LONG while) and that I need to get my act together.

With Summer being in the air and all I got to thinking about the sea, and as I thought about the sea, I got to thinking about cephalopods.  Mmmmmm, invertibrates, how are you so adorable?  So, with my mind thus occupied these squichy little fellows are the theme of today's fabulous etsy post.  I hope you can scroll and swoon simultaneously.

I've seen a lot of octopus earrings out there, but these by Mark Poulin are the cutest by far!

There is something very Japorn about these awesome "Unique Prints" from Kudu-lah.  I also love the juxtaposition of vintage and new.

BirdQueen's shop is filled with incredibly unique and beautiful illustrated jewelry.  I am seriously jealous of artist Gretchen Diehl's drawling skills.

NoirNouar"s entire shop is pretty badass.  That is, assuming the idea of being simultaneously charmed and terrified appeals to you...which it does me.

Perhaps this is what I need to keep me on top of my blogging.  I believe I have posted stuff from boygirlparty before, or if I haven't I have wanted to and forgotten about it. Who knows?  What I do know?  I love their stuff!

Oh little squidlet!  How I wish I were snuggling you! I heart amigurimi, and I heart sereneonion's shop.

Blue Bayer Designs has a pretty large selection of wildlife inspired jewelry.  All are hand cast in solid metal and all are crazy interesting and beautiful.

So, I'm going to try to turn these etsy themed posts into a weekly event.  In fact, I'm writing it on my desk calendar right now.  If you don't see one up here by next Thurday, please feel free to remind me to get my life together and get kraken.

I wouldn't worry about posting infrequently. I have three blogs, myself, and I've gone months at a time without posting on any of them. Sometimes, the Muse just hits you.
