I have been thinking about sweets this week ALOT. In particular I have been daydreaming about delicious, creamy, dreamy ice cream. I love ice cream. I eat it all year long. I don't care whether it is snowing outside. I do however recognize that ice cream's satisfaction level seems to increase exponentially as the temperature begins to rise. Here in good ole' Virginia Beach, summer is seemingly right around the corner, and my dreams of cold creamy goodness are ever in the forefront of my mind. Please enjoy some super awesome etsy finds that make it ever more difficult to resist the siren's call of the freezer section.
First up: Fruit Fly Pie's delicious looking ice cream trinket box. Looks so good I could eat it...or store tiny things in it. There are really some great ceramics in this shop. Some are retro, some are modern, all are awesome.
This Frida Kahlo Diego Rivera Ice Cream Cones print by Candylei makes me lust both for sweet treats and awesome art.
This sweet little coin purse keychain from dolls and molls reminds me of the badass Lisa Frank folders and notebooks I used to beg for every September.
Bean Forest has long been one of my favorite etsy shops to browse. Of all the shops I have visited, this one makes me shoot water out my nose more frequently than all the rest.
Seriously, who can blame Mr. Whippy for knowing what he likes? J.T. Nee's awesome polymer clay sculptures often require a second glance before you realize what is really going on...and then laugh your ass off.
Boopsiedaisy's super saturated prints are like dessert for your eyes. Yum.
Not quite sure where I would wear this hat, but it is EFFING AWESOME!

LOVE this lunch bag from blueyeduckstudios. The inside of the bag is coated so you can fill it with messy desserts and not worry about ruining the bag...just wipe it clean!
A humorous (and delicious) look at a sad time in our Nation's history. I think I love this print so much because I have always been one of those people who laughs at the things that hurt the most. I love it, and it makes me smile! From Just Look at These Things.
Finally, this print from Water Bears makes me want to cry. Too fat to fly up to his beloved ice cream, don't you just want to give this little guy a boost? I mean, how could you deny ice cream to a face like that?

It really has been ice cream weather recently. In fact, I had some tonight chocolate mint! Delicious
ironically, after reading this I watched my nephew's mother and his other aunt spoon-feeding him ice cream and thought to myself: "Two airplanes?? This will be like 9-11 in my mouth!"
Mmmmm, chocolat mint. Om nom nom nom.
